What a successful weekend at the 1st Science Festival in Frankfurt am Main!! On the main stage Prof. Stefanie Dimmeler was invited to join a panel discussion about „basic research“ hosted by the Frankfurt Alliance and hr Info. She stated that basic research is essential for medical progress and points out the importance of scientific collaborations. 

Together with Julian Wagner, Stefanie Dimmeler also joined the exhibition stand of the Cardio Pulmonary Insitute (CPI) to talk about the latest research. Highlight of the booth was a walkable model of the human heart.
