We are happy to welcome Elijah Genetzakis from the University of Sydney, Australia, to the Institute of Cardiovascular Research (ICR) as he begins his Post-Doctoral journey with us!

Elijah’s research will focus on the role of slicing regulator CHIP mutations in cardiovascular diseases, an area that has the potential to lead to groundbreaking insights into heart health. His work is proudly supported by prestigious scholarships, including the University of Sydney’s James Memorial Scholarship, Royston George Booker Scholarship, and the Deutscher Akademischer Austauschdienst (DAAD).

We’re excited to have Elijah on board and look forward to the impact his research will have in the field!
